Our loving mother and Grandma Jenny passed away on December 21, 2012 at the age of 94. Born August 21, 1918 in Arizona, one of 13 children and was raised in Gallup, N.M., but came to call Southern California her home since 1945 residing in Harbor City and Carson. Jenny, mother to Marcella Bradford (Kenny), Bobby Cervantes (Rita), Emily Ruiz, Betty Banda (Joe) and Ernie Cervantes was very blessed to see 5 generations of her children in her lifetime. Jenny went to work for North American Aviation which later became Rockwell International where she retired after 35yrs of employment; she, was a hard-worker, an avid dancer, and loved cooking, but was best known for feeding everybody she came into contact with her tacos, burritos and green chile. Jenny was a loyal member to a few local community lodges such as The Carson Elks and The Carson Moose, but dedicated and spent her time at The Carson Eagles where she is loved and missed dearly. Jenny Cervantes is survived by her 2 youngest brothers, Daniel and Frankie Chavez; 3 daughters; grand, great grand, and great great-grandchildren; and countless friends. God bless and rest your soul Grandma Jenny, you will be forever loved, never forgotten and always remembered. We retired and reserved "your" seat at the Eagles for an eternity grandma.
