For the short time I met John as a young missionary he was a generous, funny, and a great man. I will always remember how he taught me to let things go and not to sweat the petty things. He had an amazing sense of humor.
Condolences to Raylene and his family.

I met John while serving my Mission from 98 to 00. He was a character. From the superior quality of a mercury light switch to the importance of Vitamin A, it was always a pleasure hearing what John had to say. I'll forever remember to not use "Um" while speaking because of his commitment to make sure the Missionaries knew how to communicate :).

Grandpa,
I'm going to miss you. I'm glad I got to see you last summer before you went. I was your entertainment for a week and a half, and you kept me laughing, as well. You served well and blessed so many lives. Heaven is lucky to have you. I'm so glad that my dad met you on his mission, because now we were all blessed to know you. I can't wait to see you again! I love you!

Mr. Christmas was our electrician since we moved into our home. Now, his son has taken up the reins of the family business. We are so blessed to have had these wonderful people, God's men, in our home. May God take you into His bosom, and assuage your family's grief with all the sweet memories that are left behind. On behalf of my husband, Brad, and myself, we send the Christmas family our most sincere sympathy.

I feel so sorry for all of those "kids" who will never be able to sit on John Christmas' lap.n My family has been blessed to be able to know this man. He always had a joke to tell, a fact to share, and a vast knowledge of EVERYTHING! He will ALWAYS be Santa to us!

Grandpa, you are missed so much, i hate the thoughtof not being able to talk on the phone with you anymore or go see you. When i last saw you on my birthday (june 28th) you were talking and smiling and were so happy to see me and Tom. that was the best feeling. I cant believe it came down to this </3. You brought joy to many people and whoever you were around always had a smile on their face. You will always be in our hearts! R.I.P. Grandpa I miss you so much<3
