Judith Datria Obituary

Judith Ann Datria passed away from congestive heart failure on September 18, 2010, at the age of 73. Judy was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on May 26, 1937. She moved to the Los Angeles area and lived over 40 years in Torrance. She worked for the Redondo Beach School District for close to 25 years and the children adored her. She moved to Irvine in 2002 and learned to absolutely love her new home and the wonderful neighbors in her community. Her elaborate holiday decorations were the talk of the neighborhood. She was known for her sweet nature and generosity to all. She always wanted to give to those in need, especially in the last months of her life. Her passing has crushed so many people. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Datria. She is survived by her daughters, Sheri Bellante and Linda Poole; her son, Bobby Edwards and his fiance, Vangie; son-in-law, Chuck Bellante; her grandchildren, Nicholas Bellante, Jordan Poole, and Lindsey Poole. We pray that Judy is once again in the loving arms of her husband, Jim. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 11:00 a.m, followed by Graveside Services at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes. A reception will follow. Judy and her family lived one house down from me. My sisters and I spent a lot of time playing with Linda, Bobby, and Shari since we all grew up on the same block. Judy and Jim were always a part of our neighborhood and were really great people. They always had time to ask how we were doing and what was going on with our lifes. I have some really great memories of the Datria family, especially Jim and Judy.
