Juliana Vincent Obituary

July 21, 1932 - October 15, 2010

Age 78, born Omaha, NE, Juliana died peacefully at home of cancer and was the beloved mother of 9. She never thought of herself, and was totally giving. She worked for United Airlines in her earlier days, gave many years to community, school and Church service, performed proctoring of multiple exams, and was a school office substitute among other endeavors. She was a granddaughter of a judge in Omaha, became a licensed pilot, attended Rocky Ridge Music Center and was a Creighton graduate. Juliana spent many hours playing classics on the piano, the organ, and sang in multiple choirs over the years. She left sons, Tom, Rich, and Mike; daughters are Pat, Kathy, Janet, Julie, and Barb. Juliana has 21 grandkids and 4.5 great grandkids at last count. Her brothers are Jim and John, both doctors in Omaha, Nebraska. She was predeceased by husband, Thomas; son Jeff; mother, Wilda and father, E. Glenn Woodbury. Arrangements were through McMillan-McCormick Mortuary, St. Anthony's Church in Gardena (funeral was held 10/23/2010 at 12 noon), and Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA. Thinking of the Vincent family. There is no way to lessen the sorrow of losing a mother, Janet. But please remember that others care and wish you strength at this difficult time. And precious memories be your comfort.

My deepest sympathies to the Vincent Family, especially to my life-long friend Julie. Mrs. Vincent was always nice to me, and I shall remember her kindnesses.
