Louise, 98, passed away in Lakewood, Colorado. She was born in Mena, Arkansas, but grew up in Grand Lake, Grand County, Colorado. She also lived in Dayton, Ohio and in California in the community of Westchester in the Los Angeles area, and in Oceanside. The beloved wife of Clarence L. H. Baer, Sr., who passed in 2007, she is survived by sons Clarence Jr. (Lindy), John N. (Nick) and Gregory A. (Greg), three daughters-in-law, six grand- and five great-grandchildren. A graduate of Denver West High School and Barnes Business College, Louise used her organizational skills in business before and after raising her sons and serving as a homemaker. She was an early skier, met her loving husband through skiing, loved the outdoors, as well as her involvement in sewing and craft pursuits. In retirement, she and her husband were members at First Presbyterian Church of Oceanside, researched their genealogy, wrote their family history, Baer Tracks, and volunteered at Tri-City Medical Center, Oceanside, California. Louise was a life member of the Grand Lake Area Historical Society. A private celebration of Louise's life will be held in the spring 2013 in Southern California.
