Madeline Ramona Rodriguez Obituary
Madeline Ramona Rodriguez "Nana"

Passed away on March 26, 2012 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Madeline was born on July 4, 1952 in San Pedro where she was a lifetime resident. Nana considered herself a "Real San Pedran" and always loved attending events in town especially "Cars & Stripes" and "Music by the Sea." She worked at Boeing for 28 years where she proudly worked on many key projects. Madeline's true love, however, was her family and friends. Although she never had children of her own, she became an adopted mother or auntie of sorts for many nieces, nephews, and friends. Her infamous "Blue Van" was purchased by Nana in order to caravan as many people as possible in order to take trips to the beach, camping, Knott's Berry Farm, company picnics, ice capades, or any other adventure she could find. One thing was certain, Madeline was a one of a kind person who always put others first. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her but will be joining her dear mother, brothers and sisters. She is survived by her siblings, Ralph Rodriguez (Dolores), Johnny Rodriguez, Bobby Hernandez, and Debbie Lugo-Goodman; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins, god children and friends that she herself considered family. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at McNerney's Mortuary Chapel followed by interment at Green Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at McNerney's Mortuary phone: 310-832-8351. Please sign the guest book at www.dailybreeze.com/obits.
