What greater gifts can a person give you than love and happiness? Auntie and I were lucky enough to have shared those for many years, and thoughts of her will keep me smiling for the rest of my life.
I loved the visits to Massachusetts because, in spite of all the years in California, she remained a "yankee". Even her Mass accent was still pretty much there. Her family members are the few people in CA who know how to correctly say "aunt"because of her.
She shared so many memories (and bourbons) with us. Many of the stories about Auntie and Ma together made you envy what a pair they were. I wish I had been old enough to share the times at the British Club with them.
In my heart our parents are at the club right now, and still enjoying one anothers' company.
My love for all of them is everlasting...

Our heartfelt condolences to Sandra, who was there for Aunt Peg during her times of great need, and to all the grandchildren.
From my very first memory of Aunt Peg on Andover Street, I've always thought of her as one of the kindest people I've ever known. In my heart's memory, she's always smiling despite life's trials.
She was a courageous and good woman, and I'll miss her terribly.

Peggy was such a sweet lady. She was always so nice to everyone that she met. I don't ever remember her saying an unkind word about anyone in the 20 some years that I knew her. I was so happy to hear that family was with her when she passed.
Sandra, thank you ever so much for having Peggy move close to you. It was difficult for her to leave the area that she knew so well, but it was for the best.
