Olga Fleischner Dahlmeier

Born on May 23, 1945 in La Paz, Bolivia, and went to be with the Lord on October 24, 2013. Olga and her family came to the US when she was 9 years old and took residence in Southern California. She graduated from Washington High School in 1962 and soon after married her high school sweetheart. They moved to Torrance in 1972 with their two sons. Olga worked for TUSD for over 25 years, starting at Howard Wood Elementary and then on to Torrance High School where she retired in 2002. Watching her sons and later her grandchildren's sporting events gave her much happiness, you could always find her in the stands cheering them on. She loved her group of girlfriends that she played Bunco with, went to the theatre and movies with and always loved to catch a good sale at the mall! She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Steve; sons, Scott (Shari) and Greg; and her adoring grandchildren, Jacob, Kyle, Shane, Shawn and Jessica; her brother, Chuck; nieces, Maia and Samantha, their families, and friends too many to count. In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates any consideration of a gift to: Providence Little Co. of Mary San Pedro Foundation in support of San Pedro Rehabcentre. PLCOMMC San Pedro, Attn: Foundation, 1300 W. 7th St., San Pedro, CA 90732. Please reference Olga Dahlmeier/San Pedro Rehabcentre. Services will be held Monday, November 18th at the Doubletree Hotel, 21333 Hawthorne Blvd. at 11 a.m. Please sign the guestbook at www.dailybreeze.com/obits
