I always thought there would be time. That just one more day would come that we could share...
I was wrong.
I'm so sorry Dick.

We remember Dick from racing model boats with him when he came to Needles. He was always fun to be around and to race with. He was always helpful to everyone. Our prayers and sympathy are with his family.

As I walk with sadness, a heavy burden at the loss of a dear friend,
Thoughts of a gentle soul, a caring, loving friend, sweep over me,
You listened really listened, never judged me, never judged anyone
A smile, a humorous song, a great steak, these things you had to offer..
these gems of life, so simply true not far from your father,
say hello for me
I will miss you dear, dear friend, until we meet and laugh again...
He was so very proud of you Amy..he will walk with you always...Love & hugs to you and your mom ...

Rest in Paradise Richard. You were like a second father to me growing up, as well as my Dad's Bestfriend. You were loved very much and I know you will be watching over your amazing daughter, Amy and your loving wife Kim. My prayers are with your family. I will always hear your voice saying "No soup for you." You're gone but not forgotten, RIP. -Megan Porteous & Family
