Robert Baillie Obituary
Robert Baillie

Robert Andrew Baillie, born on July 16, 1957, passed away unexpectedly on March 24, 2014 after completing the Mammoth Mountain Winter Biathlon. Robert will be missed dearly and will always be remembered as a loving and wonderful husband, father, son, brother and friend to many. Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa Livoti Baillie and his daughters, Alanna and Geena. He also leaves behind his father, Edouard; his sisters, Sheena, Maureen, Claire, Loraine and brothers, Frank and Steven. Robert was born in Torrance to parents Edouard and Elizabeth Baillie. He attended Calle Mayor Elementary (where he met his wife, Lisa) and graduated in 1975 from South High School. Robert established RBaillie Flooring, and built it into a successful hardwood floor business in the South Bay. Robert was an avid sportsman and especially loved dirt bike racing, snow and waterskiing, snowboarding and ping pong, and earned his 3rd degree black belt in karate. Rob loved Mammoth Mountain and spent as much time there with his family and friends as possible. He took great pride in teaching his daughters how to snow ski and dirt bike ride, and cherished the many long drives where he spent one on one time with each of his girls. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 4th at 11 a.m. at the Riviera United Methodist Church in Redondo Beach. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to or Stewards of the Sequoia, http://stewardsofthesequoia.org/RobertBaillieMemorialTrailFund.html. Please sign the guest book at www.dailybreeze.com/obits.
