Robert E. "Bob" Lea Obituary
Robert E. "Bob" Lea

September 2, 1932 –
September 7, 2013

Bob lived in New York until the age of 10, at which time his family moved to Southern California. He joined the U.S. Army at 17 and achieved the rank of sergeant. Bob was a lifelong learner and will be remembered for his cheerful smile, friendly demeanor, and sense of humor; for his love of boating, music, and any type of card game (most recently bridge;) for his grace on the dance floor; and especially for the dignity and inner strength with which he met life's challenges. Bob will be dearly missed by the members of his large family and remembered with great fondness by his friends. A memorial Mass will be held at American Martyrs Church in Manhattan Beach on Saturday, September 21, at 10:00a.m. Please sign the guestbook at www.dailybreeze.com/obits.
