Robert Denison Obituary

Robert "Bobby" Gordon Denison, an eight-year resident of San Pedro, CA, passed away on November 2, 2010 in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. He was born September 15, 1915 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Robert was a career military officer in the United States Air Force (Ret. Maj. USAF) and was stationed at many military bases in the U.S. and abroad. During his honorable career, he proudly served his country in combat in WWII and the Korean War. He and his family lived in Denver, Colorado for the majority of his life. Robert was a member of the Retired Officer's Association and lifetime NRA member. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Betty Epps Denison; two daughters, Dolores Virginia Hill (of Denver, CO) and Gail Diane Traughber (of San Pedro, CA); grandchildren, Shari, Debi, James and Robert; great-grandchildren, Nicholle, Natasha, Benjamin, Keana, Donovan, Isabelle and Michael; and great-great-grandchildren, TyQuise, NaCyis, Jeremiah, Tatyana and Elijah. "Bobby's" gift of gab meant he never knew a stranger, and many people over his long life have become acquaintances and friends and he will be greatly missed. His cremains will be buried at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your church or favorite charity.
