Rose Hannah Gallemore

Rose Hannah Gallemore, was born in 1928 in Bethlehem, Palestine, and passed away peacefully on August 29, 2012 in Gardena, California. She moved to the United States where she met and married Dr. Elbert M. Gallemore in 1964. They were happily married for 48 years and had two beautiful children together. Surviving are her beloved husband, Elbert M. Gallemore, son, Dr. Ron and wife, Esmeralda Gallemore, daughter, Ronda Gallemore, and grandchildren. Rose was a long time resident of Huntington Beach where she lived since her early 30s. She graduated with a Masters degree in Education and became a teacher and a painting artist. Later in life she taught her children how to master the technique of painting.
She was a very outgoing person who went out of her way to help those in need. She was very involved in her children's lives and touched the hearts of many.
Rose was an excellent cook and specialized in Arabic cuisine and enjoyed gatherings with her family members. She emphasized throughout her life the importance of family values and caring for others, lessons her children have carried throughout their lives.
She will be laid to rest on September 6, 2012 at The Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes. Please sign the guestbook at www.dailybreeze.com/obit.
