Rose Mary Baldwin (nee Clum), 81, of Carson, CA, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at home. Born on September 30, 1932 in Lansing, MI, she was the daughter of the late Harold LeGrande Clum and Lena Grace Morrow. She was named for the street her father took to work at the Chrysler Plant in Lansing. She grew up in Dimondale, MI and attended Dimondale High School where she played clarinet in the band and graduated in the Class of 1950. She worked for Continental Airlines when it was a regional carrier and retired from Aerospace Corporation where she worked for many years in the accounting department. Her main love in life was her family, where she became an avid genealogist and did much to record and preserve her family's history, traveling the country and tracing a number of her lines back to when they arrived in the United States. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by sister, Delores Pascotto; brother, Stanley Clum and grandson, Brad Donley. She is survived by brother, Richard Clum (Jean); one daughter, Laura Brooks (Tom); two sons, Stephen Ellis (Nellie) and ThomasEllis; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at A. M. Gamby Funeral Home in Lomita, CA with graveside service to be held in Dimondale, MI.
