Shane McCusker Obituary

Born on September 9, 2010, son of Michael and Dana (Kuwahara) McCusker passed away on September 11, 2010 from congenital heart problems at UCLA Medical Center. Shane is also survived by his grandparents, Gary and Teri Kuwahara of Torrance, Paul McCusker and Kathy McCusker of Westlake Village; uncles, Jay McCusker, Derek Kuwahara; and aunts, Kelly McCusker and Katia Hirschthal. A celebration of his life will be held at the United Methodist Church of Thousand Oaks, 1000 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks, CA on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at noon. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the Shane McCusker Foundation, 4607 Lakeview Canyon Road # 158, Westlake Village, CA 91361.

He was the dearest of hopes, then the object of great love, in his short life he taught a great deal to so many about love, strength and family.
