Stanley Lewis Schulman
The Guest Book is expired.
Stanley Lewis Schulman passed away peacefully, after a long and full life, surrounded by family, laughter and love. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elaine. They had 4 loving and devoted children: Sheri (Ed), Norman (Marla), Terri (Brian) and Lori (Jerome). Stanley never missed a chance to show his love and affection to his grandchildren, Debi, Heather, Rebecca, Aubrey, Danielle, Ruby, Sam and Noah. All those close to him will forever have a smile on their faces when thinking of the man who lived as long as he laughed and laughed as long as he lived. Born in Los Angeles to Sam and Nettie Schulman, Stanley was the oldest of 3 boys. He is survived by his brother, Marvin, and preceded in death by Richard. He met Elaine at a Jewish singles' dance. It was love at first sight. He was a dedicated son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, all while still finding joy and happiness in his many passions, including the music of Frank Sinatra, UCLA Athletics, Chicago Cubs, San Francisco 49ers, Laurel & Hardy, history, politics and classic movies. He and Elaine loved to travel, especially by train. Always together until the end, they attended countless concerts and sporting events, and visited museums across the country. In honor of his memory, please keep that smile on his face, and put on a UCLA shirt, a Sinatra tune, a Cub hat, sit in a big chair and watch a game or a classic movie. A celebration of his life will be held at Hillside Cemetery.
