Peter Frusteri

Peter, age 83, died peacefully in his home in Salt Lake City, Friday, February 8th. He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, four children, nine grandchildren and countless relatives. Born in Brooklyn New York he lived in many locations including San Pedro where he was actively involved in the Italian American Club and St. Peters Society, but his heart remained in Brooklyn - which he considered the capital of the world. He was known for his hard work in the food industry and dedication to his family, especially his bride, Martha. Peter, a Veteran of the Army, was an avid reader who had a passion for history, current events and a great love for ice cream which he passed on to his children and grandchildren. Go in peace you will be greatly missed. A mass in his honor will be held in Italian at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 14th at Mary Star of the Sea.
