Ronald Jacob Rosa

Ron "Blacky" Rosa was born on December 28th 1957 and passed away on May 28th 2014 in Wilmington, at the age of 56. He was born and raised in Wilmington to Rick (deceased) and Bertha Rosa. He graduated from Banning High School in 1976. Soon after he shipped out and became a merchant seaman. A few years later he decided to stay home with his family after the passing of his father. As a young man he had a passion for riding motocross bikes and Bruce Lee movies. In his later years he was blessed with a daughter whom he loved more than life itself. He loved to BBQ and listen to Classic Rock music. Ron was a loving and caring person, and always had a smile on his face. He will be missed by all his family and friend's who knew him. He is survived by his beautiful daughter, Jilliyen Rosa; mother, Bertha Rosa; brothers, Richard and Randy Rosa; sister, Raelani (David) Areyan; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Viewing will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2014 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm; services begin at 1:00 pm, Funeraria Del Angel McNerney's Mortuary, 1640 N. Avalon Blvd. Wilmington, CA 90744.
