Ana A. Lunsford
Ana, the daughter of Lonnie and Filomina Bamer, was born August 12, 1924 in the Philippines and passed away peacefully in her home with family be her side on Thursday, June 5, 2014 in Torrance, California. She owned her own business in the diamond industry for over 30 years. Her love of life, family and dancing kept her young at heart and very active for many years. Ana is survived by her loving daughter, Judith A. Griffin: her sixteen devoted nieces and nephews, Juana (Donald) Stephens, Amy (Robert) Yeo, Bella (Martin) Geotina, Maggie Hofilena, Robert (Rodel) Acelar, Dolores Chua, Annie Acelar, Elsie (Erwin) Hildenhagen, Alice (Eugene) Florendo, Grace (Wasi) Cosme, Charles (Toni) Bamer, Lonnie Bamer, May Bamer, Ana Bamer, Reed (Eisa) Bamer and Ronald Bamer, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be both Thursday, June 19th from 3:00 - 8:00 PM and Friday, June 20th from 3:00 - 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM in the Villetta Room at Green Hills Mortuary in Rancho Palos Verdes. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 on Saturday, June 21st at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Carson. Interment will immediately follow the mass at Green Hills Memorial Park.
