Dearly loved husband, dad and papa
1935 - 2011

Ralph Hill Perez was born January 4, 1935 to Josephine Medina and Marvin A. Perez in Los Angeles, California. He moved to Wilmington, CA in 1948 and lived next to Allyce who would later become his wife of 58 years, where they relocated to Carson, CA in 1981. Ralph passed away peacefully on July 9, 2011 of cardiac arrest. He was surrounded by his wife and family at Little Company of Mary Hospital in San Pedro, CA at 10:30 a.m. He was predeceased by his mama, dad, brothers and sisters, John, Selma, Mickey, Esther, Peggy, Helen, Dorothy, Rudy and Albert. He is survived by wife, Allyce; children, Becky (Bobby), Ralph T (Martha), Alice, Norman, Larry (Lori), and Josie; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; with one more great grandson on the way who will carry on the Perez name. Ralph enjoyed playing basketball and later ran with the cross-country track team at Banning High. He was a Dodgers baseball fan, loved working on his car, hot wheels and going to NASCAR races. He was a true Rams fan, and had season passes for the team from 1969 until 1995. He followed them to St. Louis, watching televised games, and often went to games around California with family. He was very fond of a rose garden planted at his home in Carson, he tended to it daily. Ralph was a friendly, easy to get along with type of person, loved life, and a joker; so long as his car and TV were working properly. The family has decided to keep funeral services/arrangements private. Please sign the guestbook for Ralph at www.dailybreeze.com/obits.
