April 18, 1947 - December 7, 2012
On December 7, 2012 Cesar Velasco went to be with The Lord. Growing up, he wanted to be an inspiration to others. So in 1969 he joined the service and toured in Vietnam until 1970. He fought for his country with pride, honor, and dignity. He loved to tell stories and teach his family the values of life. He had a heart of gold. He is remembered by his wife, Sylvia Velasco, 9 children, 15 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Even though he has went to be with the Lord, he will always be a part of our daily prayers and thoughts. Because he was the best person anyone could ask for, he loved his family. He was a loving and understanding husband, father, father in law, and grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed, may he rest in peace. We love you. The Velascos.
Services will be Monday, December 17, 2012 at Funeraria del Angel McNerney's Mortuary from 5-9pm and Tuesday, December 18 at 10:30 at Mary Star of the Sea in San Pedro. Please sign the guest book at www.dailybreeze.com/obits.
