Aster Elwanda Moore
The Guest Book is expired.
Of Carson, passed away Dec. 20, 2012 at the age of 90. She was born Dec. 13, 1922 in Arkansas. Elwanda, as she was known by her family and friends, was an avid bingo player. Where other folks took the casino busses to gamble, Elwanda would go to the casinos to play Bingo, hours on end. She was also a great fan of card games. Not just poker, which she was pretty good at, but all kinds of games as well. She loved crossword puzzles, and sewing. But, before all of this, Elwanda, with her husband Lee, were avid square dancers. They, along with several other couples formed the "Honeycombers" Square Dance Club. They danced until Lee's passing in 1994. She is survived by her loving son, Richard Moore; granddaughter, Kelli Moore and her fianc#233; Michael Jordan; grandson, Scott Moore; and great granddaughter, Sierra Moore. Elwanda was well loved by all and will be sorely missed. Viewing will be Friday, December 28, 2012 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the mortuary, with graveside services following at 2 p.m. in Green Hills Memorial Park.
