Joyce Ann Eiges
Joyce Ann Eiges, a longtime resident of Southern California, passed Thursday the 3rd of January 2013 after a long bout with cancer at her home per her wishes. Born on July 21, 1939 in Sulphur, Oklahoma, Joyce was an active housewife and mother that supplemented the household income by working many part time occupations including: Home Interiors, a longtime paperboy supervisor for the Daily Breeze, and various other jobs selling jewelry, making sandwiches for a deli, bartending at Missile and Gardena Bowl, then venturing into her lucrative personal freight hauling business "Back-in Trucking". Joyce spent many hours donating her time including working in the concession stand at Tri Park Little League, Meals-on-wheels, caring for abused dogs, hospital volunteer for disadvantaged children and the elderly. Joyce will be remembered as a terrific mother who was always there for her three boys. She will be remembered for being active in the community and her big heart volunteering to help others and her love for dogs. Joyce is survived by her three boys: Stephen, Ronald, and Donald. Two grandchildren: Jason and Melissa. Three great grandchildren: Jaden, Reese and Tannor. Three brothers: Edward, Bobby, and Leroy. Two sisters: Caroline and Kathy. Her two dogs: Muffin and Callie.
