Nancy Jeanmarie McCauley Obituary
Nancy Jeanmarie McCauley

Born July 19, 1935, died peacefully in her home in Palos Verdes Estates on April 6, 2013. She is survived by her only son, William McCauley Jr. (Bill-Bill or Bill Jr.) of Los Angeles. Nancy's life in California started in the 1950's, where she worked with Warner Brothers and other studios. During her career she had the opportunity to assist the great Mel Brooks. Nancy turned in the showbiz life for the family life when she married William McCauley (Bill Sr.) and gave birth to her son. Nancy was a resident of Palos Verdes Estates for almost 40 years and was involved with many philanthropic groups while living on the hill, including The Associates (Palos Verdes Art Center), Aerospace Wives Club and Las Vecinas Women's Club. Nancy was such a people person, always sharing her stories and insights with everyone, no matter if it was someone she knew for years or someone she just met. She lived a wonderful life and everyone that knew her can account for great moments they shared with her. Nancy had the opportunity to travel around most of the world and shared that opportunity with both her late mother, Ernestine Hansen (who she took back to her birth place for the first time in over 80 years in Luxembourg) and her late husband, Bill Sr. In lieu of flowers and to give to an organization that is fighting a disease that Nancy battled for the last 7 years of her life, please make a tribute donation to the , in Nancy's honor, at her personal tribute page:
