Don was an amazing person. This world has been richly blessed by his life and presence. His family has also been profoundly blessed to have such a warm and loving family man as a part of the Scott and Skubik family. May light perpetual shine upon Don. With all our love, Kim & Rick Sharp

I'm so sorry, Carolyn, I'm sure he is in Heaven showing all the angels his square dancing steps! I know multitudes of former third graders at Pt. Fermin will never forget his generous talent. Susan Balmanno

Don Scott was a kind of caring person in all that he did. When I taught in Carson, he was the principal. He knew every child at the school and they knew him. The children knew that when he was at school, they were always his first priority. Since I later became a friend and fellow teacher with his daughter, Cathy Skubik, working closely with her for many years, I know that he was a key component to a close and loving family. Before I retired, I saw Don Scott every week when he came to teach folk dancing to every child at Park Western School. He was always available to offer the best he had for children and those that educate them. Don Scott was a treasure to those in his family, with those he worked, to those in his church and to all the little ones who were ever lucky enough to know him. He will be missed. My condolences to all the family. He will be greatly missed. You are a fortunate family to have had such a man in your midst who graced so many lives for so many years. I feel fortunate that I had the opportunity to know and work with him.

I worked with Donald at South Park in the late 70s. I was a new teacher and he was the best principal to have. I thought of him often, especially when I became a principal myself. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. He was a great guy.

It was with deep sadness when we heard about Don. I go back at least 70 years as a friend and consider him as one of the most outstanding individuals that I have ever known.May he rest in peace.
