Dear Dad,
It has been nearly one year that you have passed into a new journey. Your birthday just passed, April 2. You would have been 65.
The journey is difficult for me but I have a strength in knowing that God works all things together for His Good.
A strong story always carries within it's pages, a storm but my faith, calms the winds that try to drown me.
I begin law school in a few months, Dad. I want to help others in this life. I want to open the eyes and conscious of many. Dad, you will be proud.
I love you Dad and miss you terribly.
Love,
Your daughter,
Laura Marie

Thinking of you Dad. Gosh, time goes by so fast, yet so slow at the same time, sometimes. I know that you are now in Heaven, with God, the Father, all the angels, surrounded by Paradise Gates 'Streets of Gold.' What a journey! Nearly a year later, this journey. How this journey travels both quickly and slowly at the same time, sometimes. Miss you Dad!

I saw a man walking down a dirty and dusty road.As the man came closer I saw how beautiful and clear his eyes were. His voice like an ocean of living water pouring over me. The comforter surrounded me and Jesus carried me home.
I am Free.

I am going to miss my father,Gilbert Guerra JR dearly, but I know that he is with God now.I will always cherish the wonderful memories that I had with him growing up in San Pedro with my mom and sister Laura for as long as I live.I will always remember the fun times I had with him as a little girl at our trips to Knott's Berry Farm and going on all the rides together as a father and daughter.
1 Corinthians 15:42-44
The body that is sown is perishable,it is raised imperishable;it is sown in dishonor,it is raised in glory;it is sown in weakness,it is raised in power;it is sown a natural body,it is raised a spiritual body.If there is a natural body,it is raised a spiritual body.
Dad,I love you.
May you rest in the presence of God now.
Love,
