Frank Aguirre, Jr.
Frank (Nito) Aguirre, Jr., was born on August 25, 1934 in Wilmington, CA. With his family at his side, he peacefully went to the Lord on July 9, 2014 in Torrance, CA. The Wilmington native, was a proud Longshoreman for over 30 years with ILWU Local 13. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a Lifetime Member of VFW Post 2967 in Wilmington. Nito, is survived by his children: Frank (Christine) Aguirre, III, Naomi (Victor Medina) Aguirre, Christopher (Elsa) Aguirre, Dion (Ann Marie) Massey and Jerry Aguirre. He leaves his legacy on this earth through his 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and is survived by his brother, Salvador (Lucy) Aguirre; sisters, Sarah Nunez and Evelyn (Max) Woolem, along with numerous nephews and nieces. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 11 a.m. at All Souls Mortuary Chapel, 4400 Cherry Ave. Long Beach, CA 90807. Interment will be private.
