Dwight Cook Obituary

BRADFORD - Dwight Eugene Cook, 69, formerly of Bradford, residing at Southbrook Care Center, Springfield, passed away, Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 9, 1943, to Ezra and Emma (Burns) Cook of Bradford.
Dwight attended Bradford Schools for 12 years, and also attended Wittenberg College and the University of Dayton. He worked at several places including Armco Steel in Middletown, Murphy's in Circleville, and Amole' in Dayton. Dwight's passions were playing the guitar and growing flowers from seed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Duane W. Cook of Piqua; and by his infant sister, Carolyn L. Cook.
Dwight is survived by his sister and best friend, Dianna C. Spriggs and her husband Ted R. Spriggs of Englewood; his sister- in-law, Marietta M. Cook of Piqua; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He also is survived by his very special niece, Natalie Spriggs/Trobridge and husband, Steve Trobridge; and his grand- niece, Izabella, the apple of his eye!
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday at the Bradford Church of the Brethren, 120 W. Oakwood St., Bradford, with Pastor John Shelton officiating.
