SIDNEY — Barbara Adams, 92, of Sidney, passed away at 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, 2014, at Dorothy Love Retirement Community. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., with Pastor John Leighty officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco. WAPAKONETA — Brad Anthony, 25, of Botkins died early Sunday morning Nov. 16, 2014, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born June 22, 1989 in Piqua, to Mike A. and Jill L. (Knouff) Anthony, who survive in Botkins. Survivors also include a brother, Chad (Stephanie) Anthony of Anna; a niece, Alexis Anthony; paternal grandparents, Frank and Wava Anthony; maternal grandfather, Johnnie Knouff; aunts and uncles, Frank (Wendy) Anthony of Houston, Ed (Julia) Anthony of N.C., Jeannene (Tim) Burnside of Piqua, Jon (Elaine) Knouff of Sidney, Jay Knouff of Celina, Jason (Jodi) Knouff of Celina; and extended family. He was preceded in death by a maternal grandmother, Janet Knouff; uncle Jerry Knouff; and a cousin, Kyle Knouff. Brad was a 2008 graduate of Botkins High School. He then attended Upper Valley Career Center where he earned a welding degree. He was employed at Crown in New Bremen as a welder. He enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, four wheeling and being involved in truck pulling. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially his brother. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday Nov. 21, 2014, at Immaculate Conception Church, Botkins. The Rev. Patrick Sloneker will be officiating. Burial will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery, Rhine. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta. Davis, Harry M.  
COVINGTON — Harry M. Davis, 89, of Covington, passed away Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014, at the Upper Valley Medical Center. Harry was born in Bradford on April 13, 1925, to the late William Coate and Sylvia Angeline (Driver) Davis. He was a graduate of Covington High School, Class of 1948, attended Bowling Green University, was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during World War II and separated as a Quarter Master 2C(T)V-6 USR. He worked for Hobart Brothers as a Production Planner for 23 years, was owner/operator of Davis Cabinets for 15 years, was a member of the Covington Church of the Brethren, a member of the Sons of the Spanish American War, a member of the VFW Post 4235, Covington, member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and was an associate member and board member of Saving Grace Church of the Brethren, North Ft. Myers, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Jeffrey Davis and Jon William Davis; brothers and sisters, Jim Davis, Margaret Davis White, Bob Davis, Esther Davis Penny, Ralph Davis, and Bill Davis. Harry is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Bernice Ilene (Heisey) Davis; two sons, Joe R. Davis of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Jay Douglas Davis and partner, Mary Profitt of Piqua; two daughters-in-law, Clairlyn Davis of Norwich, Conn., Nancy Davis of Union; four grandchildren, Nathan and Jenna Davis of Pleasant Hill, Sara and Beau Kazee of Columbus, Chadler and Christina Davis of Connecticut, Jeslynne Davis of Connecticut; two step grandchildren, Jessica and Jim Hutchison of Covington, Jackie and Nathan Prickett of Pleasant Hill; three great-grandchildren, Magnolia and May, Carson; four step-great-grandchildren, Samuel and Andrew, Luke and Isabelle; sister-in-law, Catherine Davis of Troy; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington with Pastors Mike Yingst and John Shelton officiating. Interment Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington. Military honors provided at cemetery by the Veteran Elite Tribute Squad. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Gray, Charles E. "Charlie"  
PIQUA — Charles E. "Charlie" Gray, 79, lifetime resident of Piqua, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014 at Piqua Manor. He was born March 1, 1935, in Piqua to the late Herbert and Goldie (Cline) Gray. He attended Piqua High School, was a U.S.Army veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict, retired from A.F.Leis, where he worked as a toolmaker, was a member of the Christian Life Center (CLC Piqua), was a lifetime member of AMVETS, Post 66, Covington, and he enjoyed woodworking. Preceded in death by his parents. Charlie is survived by his wife of 62 years, Vivian (Gaines) Gray; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Lisa Gray of Odon, Ind.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Terry and Scott Jasper of Piqua and Christy and Joe Miller of Tipp City; 14 grandchildren; Missy (Tom) Thorsen of Chicago, Ill., Jeni Prochazka of Phoenix, Ariz., Jerry Gray of Piqua, Tanner Gray and Tyler Gray of Odon, Ind., Mandy (Evan) Smith of Indiana, Zach Overton of Indiana, Ronette (Jeremy) Davis of Piqua, Brandon (Brandi) Hartzell of St. Louis, Mo., Gabriel (Samantha) Hartzell of Piqua, Josh Thompson of Piqua, Caleb Thompson of Vandalia, Logan Hale of Ft. Campbell, Ky., and Dylan Hale of Tipp City; 22 great- grandchildren, John, Robert, Samantha, Riley, Rori, Tricia, Tommy, Nicholas, Taylor, Skylar, Kierstan, Killian, Isabella, Adalyn, Easton, Ashley, Courtney, Laney, Devin, Riley, Sadie, Haley, and one on the way; seven great-great-grandchildren, River, Autumn, Kaidyn, Kylie, Keenan, Annabelle, and Zander; two brothers, Herbert M. Gray of Albuquerque, N.M., and Richard (Bette) of Rocky Ford, Colo.; and other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. today at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford, with Pastor Matt Klimis officiating. Military Honors provided by V.E.T.S., Piqua. Johnson, Judith L. (Liles)  
PIQUA — Judith L. (Liles) Johnson, 49, of Piqua, passed away at her home Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Aug. 1, 1965, in Troy, to Jeffrey and Mary (Plummer) Liles. She is survived by her parents, Jeff and Mary Liles, Troy; loving husband of 30 years, Thomas Johnson, Piqua; daughter, Ashley and her husband Peter Schreiner, Huber Heights; sons, Logan Johnson and Kyle Johnson, both of Piqua; sisters, Sharon Liles, Troy, Sandy (Vic) Kiefer, Piqua and Pam Liles, St. Petersburg, Fla.; and grandson, Ian Schreiner. She is preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Liles. Judy attended Troy City Schools. She enjoyed watching her sons participate in a variety of sports as well as listening to her daughter sing. Judy delighted in sitting around the backyard fire and boating on Indian Lake, but nothing compared to her joy and love for her new grandbaby, Ian. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 204 W. Ash St., Piqua. Poling, David E.  
PIQUA — David E. Poling, 65, of Piqua, died at 2:21 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014, at Kindred Hospital, Dayton. He was born July 25, 1949, in Troy, to the late Mearl and Shirley (Gouchee) Poling. On June 22, 1968, in Piqua, he married Linda Appel. She survives. David is survived by one son, Shawn Poling, Port Clinton; one daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Joe Sheridan, Piqua; one distant brother: Mike Poling, Piqua; eight grandchildren, Alexis Crumpler, Justin Poling, Brandon Young, Josh Crumpler, Cody Crumpler, Savanna Crumpler, Haleigh Poling and Ryan Poling; two great-grandchildren, Leland Crumpler and Atlas Young; two nieces, Angie Symons, Troy and Teresa Poling Ray, Piqua; and one nephew, Mike Poling Jr., Piqua. Dave was preceded in death by his beloved dog, Lacey. David graduated from Piqua Central High School in 1967. He loved to fish in Lake Erie, garden and visit and talked to everyone in the city for public relations. He was a driver for One Stop Auto Sales in Piqua for 10 years and worked at Container Corp in Piqua for 12 years. In 1982, Dave and his wife, Linda, opened Dave's Place Restaurant in Piqua and have enjoyed serving the community for more than 32 years. David proudly served his country in the U. S. Army serving in Vietnam for two years. A service to celebrate Dave's life will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, 646 W. High St., Piqua, with Pastor Mark of Acclaim Hospice officiating. Full military honors will be presented by The Veterans Elite Tribute Squad. Calling hours will be from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in David's memory to Unity National Bank, 215 N.
