Kohli, Richard Leland "Dick" - Waverly  
WAVERLY, Tenn. — Richard "Dick" Leland Kohli, May 24, 1935-May 10, 2015. Mr. Kohli would like you to know that his work here on Earth is complete. He is quoted as saying, "Construction complete. Thank you for your patience." Mr. Kohli was born and raised in Columbus Grove, Ohio, to the late Raymond and Opal (Fisher) Kohli. He lived in Ottawa, Ohio, and later moved to Houston, Ohio. He was very good with all things mechanical and electrical. With his knowledge and experience, he became plant maintenance manager at Minster Machine Co. in Minster, Ohio. After dedicating 33 years, he retired in 1997, and moved to Waverly, Tenn. Mr. Kohli devoted his life to serving God and helping others. He was a former president of Full Gospel Men's Fellowship Int. in Sidney, Ohio, served as a state adviser of Women's Aglow, and as co-pastor of Miami Valley Faith Center in Piqua, Ohio. He was a teacher of the Word and taught Sunday School or Home Groups. He was an active member of The Gideons until 2006. He faithfully served the congregation of Friendship World Outreach as an elder on the administrative board, counseling, pastoring and disciplining many. Mr. Kohli enjoyed his hobby of restoring antique tractors and hit-and-miss engines. He has served as vice president of Humphreys Co. Tractor and Antique Engine Club. He was also a member of amateur radio clubs in Ohio and Tennessee. Mr. Kohli was preceded in death by daughter, Sharon (Kohli) Mott; brother, Raymond Kohli Jr.; sister, Pam Kohli; and grandson, Lance Bias. Survivors besides his wife, Gloria Ellis Livingston Kohli of Waverly, Tenn., include two daughters, Karen Bias and Deborah Kohli, both of St. Mary's, Ohio; step-children David Livingston of Waverly, Tenn.; and Renee (Livingston) Rodriguez of Dickson, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mr. Kohli donated his body to medical education and research. A Celebration of Life will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Friendship World Outreach, 1492 Clydeton Road, Waverly, Tenn. 37185.
