SIDNEY — Elmer B. Trapp, 78, of Sidney, passed away peacefully Feb. 26, 2015, at his residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, with Pastor Anthony Krummary and Pastor Joshua Freisthler officiating. Willis, Mary C.  
FLETCHER — Mary C. Willis, 80, of Fletcher, passed away at 9:54 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, in Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit, Troy. Born on Sept. 4, 1934, in Chicago, Ill., Mary was a daughter of the late Charles Richard and Bertha (Keller) Jelleff. She married Charles D. Willis on Jan. 11, 1964, and he survives. Although born a "city" girl, she adapted to a life in the country because she loved her husband unconditionally. Theirs was a storybook romance that lasted 51 years. Together, they raised five children: Richard Bradley Tucker of Piqua, Cindy Hutson of Troy, Elizabeth Tucker-Lince of New Carlisle, Charles (Tracey) Willis and Eric (Heather) Willis, both of Magnolia, Texas. She was a loving grandmother to 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Patricia (James) Trost of Valparaiso, Ind., and one brother, William Jelleff of Largo, Fla. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Michael and Meghan North, and a sister, Harriet Garman. Mary graduated from Griffith High School in Griffith, Ind., and attended cosmetology school. She was a Christian woman who enjoyed spending time with her family, and she and her husband set a wonderful example for their children. Mary had a love for animals, especially cats. She also enjoyed playing pool and was quite good in her younger days. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2015, from 2-4 p.m. in the Suber-Shively Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St., Fletcher. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Steve Spoon of the Piqua Church of the Nazarene presiding. Young Sr., Ronald W.  
PIQUA — Ronald W. Young Sr., 80, of Piqua, went to be with the Lord at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25,2015, at the Upper Valley Medical Center inpatient unit of Hospice of Miami County. He was born Oct. 1, 1934, in Troy to the late George Jr. and Blanche (Poling) Young. He married Rosalie C. Meiring on Oct. 20,1956, in Piqua; and she survives. Other survivors include two sons, Ronald W. (Melissa) Young Jr. of Minster and Leonard "Len" (Tammy) Young of Caledonia, Mich.; six grandchildren, Lindsey (Michael) Walters of Dayton, Brandon (Melissa) Young of Piqua, Austin Young of Piqua, Jessi Young of Knoxville, Tenn., Morgan Young of Greenville, Brittany Tackett of Piqua; a great- granddaughter, Lily Young of Piqua; and his faithful companion Baron, his dog. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Young and two sisters, Juanita Hunt and Esther Dillow. Mr. Young was a graduate of Troy High School in 1954. He retired from the Pepsi Cola Bottling Company following 40 years of employment, and then worked for Springhill Nursery for five years. He was a United States Army veteran having served during the Korean War from 1954 to 1962. He was an active member of Piqua Baptist Church, Warren Masonic Lodge 24, where he was past master in 1985,Pleiades Chapter 298 O.E.S. past patron, active member of the Vets to D.C. and a member of the Piqua Square Dance club. He enjoyed reading, collecting Louis L' Amour books, loved to fish with his sons and David, work puzzles, bird watching, yard work and gardening. A service to honor his life will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, March 2, at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery where full military honors will be provided by the Veterans Elite Tribute Squad. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home where a Masonic service will be held at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, P.O. Box 12268, Newport News, VA 23612 or the Hospice of Miami County, Inc., P. O. Box 502, Troy, Ohio 45373.
