PIQUA - Raymond N. Larson, 78, of Piqua, died at 7:09 a.m. Saturday June 8, 2013, at his residence. He was born July 23, 1934 in Chicago, Ill., to Norman and Florence (Hanson) Breitzke, who preceded him in death along with his step-father, W. C. Larson. He married Nancy R. Loffer May 28, 1981 in Troy; and she preceded him in death Sept. 21, 2004.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah J. Wiegman of Sidney, Victoria L. (Thomas) Banks of Tipp City; two grandsons, Nathan and Logan Banks; two brothers, Gerald Larson of San Jose, Calif., Larry Larson of Morton Grove, Ill.; and his feline companion, T. J. Norman Larson.
Mr. Larson attended Roosevelt University and Northwestern University and enjoyed a career as an international representative of Graphic Communications International of Washington D.C. before retiring in 1999. He was United States Army veteran.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. A private service to honor his life will be conducted at a later date in Forest Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Havey officiating and full military honors provided by the Veterans Elite Tribute Squad.
