Frederick H. Lee Jr (1962 - 2018)

PIQUA — Frederick H. Lee Jr., age 55, of Piqua, went home to be with the Lord Monday July 9, 2018, at 12:36 a.m. at Upper Valley Medical Center – ICU, Troy. He was born Oct. 13, 1962, in Piqua, to the late Frederick H. and Dora (Ames) Lee, Sr. He married Judy Roth Jan. 12, 1990, in Piqua, OH. She survives.

He is also survived by five sons: Drew Lee, Piqua, Matt Lee, Piqua, Eli Lee, Piqua, Josh and Stephanie Roth, Sidney, Nate Johnson, Piqua; three daughters: Kris-Sondra and Thomas Wolaver, Piqua, Tanzaneia Jones, Franklin, Bradi Baumann, Conover; one brother: Edgar L. Johnson, Columbus; three sisters: Katherine Michael, Piqua, Vivian Lee, Piqua, Frankie and Tony Burel, Piqua; sister-in-law: Jeana Roth, Piqua; three grandchildren: Elizabeth Wolaver, Isabella Jones, Harley Johnson and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two nephews; two nieces; and a grandson: Nevin Jones.

Fred graduated from Piqua High School in 1981. He then attended ITT Technical Institute. He was an electronics technician for UTC Aerospace, formerly BF Goodrich in Troy, for 23 years. He was a member of Upper Valley Community Church (The Valley).

Fred was in the Piqua Players, the Heritage players and a Cub Master of Pack 56 for many years. He enjoyed camping, playing cards and singing. He was the founder of Heaven-Lee Sounds Ministries. He recorded several Christian CDs with B.J. Brown.

Fred especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

A Celebration of Fred's Life will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Upper Valley Community Church, 1400 Seidel Pkwy., Piqua, with Pastor Andy Monnin and Pastor Mark Culter co-officiating.
