GREENVILLE — Jeannean N. Lane, 66, of Greenville, went home to be with the Lord at 2:06 p.m. on June 3, 2014, at Heartland of Greenville. She was born in Cuyahoga County on April 21, 1948, to the late Edwin H. and Frances (Lewis) Sells.
Jeannean is survived by one daughter: Susan Lane; one sister: Lynneé Beculheimer, Casstown; one brother-in-law: Elliott Baume, Carmel, Ind.; one brother and sister-in-law: Terry and Brenda Sells, Glen Carbon, Ill.; three nieces: Jessica Selby, Piqua, Cassandra Cartwright, Lovejoy, Ga., Leslie Kinney-Heerboth, Robertsville, Mo.; and two nephews: Billy Sells, Vidalia, Ga., Everette Kinney, Collinsville, Ill. Preceded in death by one sister: Kimberlee Sells Baume and one brother-in-law: Byron "Jim" Beculheimer.
Jeannean graduated from Piqua Central High School, Piqua. She was a member of Greene Street United Methodist Church, Piqua. Jeannean enjoyed singing in the choir. In her earlier years, she traveled to New York to pursue a career in modeling. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Piqua. Jeannean was the Administrative Assistant to the President of Hobart Corporation, Troy, for many years.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua, with Pastor Kenneth Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home.
