CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Marilyn E. Hanf, 83, of Clinton Township, Mich., and a previous longtime resident of Piqua, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 17, 2012.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Gilbert, in 1999. She was the daughter of the late Gertrude and William Richert, and sister of the late June Wilkie.
She is survived by her sister, Sue Richert, and by her loving niece and special caregiver, Sandy Belback of Fraser, Mich. She was a loving aunt, Godmother, cousin and friend of many. She will be dearly missed by all who love her. Marilyn courageously fought the effects of a stroke she suffered July 31, 2012.
She was retired from the Monsanto Co., Miamisburg, was a past member of the Piqua Country Club and the Greenleaf Garden Club. She was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and duplicate bridge player. She was a devoted member of St. Luke Lutheran Church. Memorials may be sent to St. John Providence Hospice, Detroit, Mich. or St. Luke Lutheran Church, Clinton Township, Mich.
A memorial service will be held in March 2013.
