COVINGTON - Miriam Edna Kenworthy, 88, of Covington, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013, at her home. She was born in Piqua on Nov. 7, 1924, to the (late) George Raymond & Grace (Bodemiller) Ebberts; a graduate of Covington High School, class of 1942; lifelong service and retired owner of Ebberts Field Seeds, Inc. of Covington; and lifelong member of Covington Church of the Brethren.
Preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Bryan Kenworthy; and sister, Betty Suber.
Miriam is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Joseph Benjamin Kenworthy; four sons, Dale and Jane Ann Kenworthy of Covington, Dr. William and Sharon Kenworthy of Greenbelt, Md., Paul and Darlene Kenworthy of Covington, Fred and Cindy Kenworthy of Pleasant Hill; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Howard Suber of Fletcher and his children, John Suber and Janet Fulton; other relatives and many dear friends.
Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Covington Church of the Brethren with Pastor Michael Yingst officiating. Interment Highland Cemetery, Covington. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
