BRADFORD — Scott Allen Frantz, age 55, of Bradford, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018, at his home. Scott was born in Troy on Aug. 31, 1962, to Jack and Janet (Schellenbarg) Frantz,.

He was a graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1981; a member of the Covington Eagles Aerie #3998; had previously worked in construction, masonry, concrete, septic systems.

He contracted a flesh-eating disease that cost him his legs in 2000, and never heard him complain not once. He was an old-school, true country boy and loved his country music; loved the Lifetime Channel on television; was an avid "NCIS" and "Monk" watcher; loved staying in garage – changing oil and hanging with his friends having a beer.

Scott is survived by his parents, Jack and Janet Frantz of Bradford; his wife of 18 years, Donna (Flannery) Frantz; daughter, Lindsey Frantz of Cincinnati; three step-daughters, Samantha and Luke Hafer of Bradford, Alexandria Bashore of Piqua, Brittney and Dustin Harvey of KY; three grandchildren, Caden Harvey, Colton Harvey, Hudson Michael Hafer; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Melinda Frantz of Bloomer; sister and brother-in-law, Leisa and Mark Brandt of Bradford; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral service 11 a.m. Friday at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford, with Pastor John Shelton officiating. Interment Highland Cemetery, Covington. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
