GREENVILLE — Wilma J. Brinkman, 80, of Greenville, died at 4:47 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Versailles Health Care Center, Versailles. She was born in Rossville on Aug. 16, 1933, to the late Clyde M. and Elsie L. (Rich) Shroyer.
Wilma is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Brinkman of Herkimer, N.Y. and Beth Waddle of Greenville; one son, Jeff Brinkman of Troy; one son-in-law, Gary Waddle of Piqua; one brother, Robert "Bobby" Shroyer of Piqua; seven grandchildren, Angela Brown, Justin Brinkman, Ashley Skaggs, Kayla Burgan, Alexis Waddle, Chase Waddle, and Jeffrey Brinkman Jr.; 11 great-grandchildren; and friend, Craig Bowman of Greenville. She was preceded in death by one brother, Dick Shroyer.
Wilma graduated from Piqua Central High School in 1952. She was a dispatcher for the Piqua Police Department for 13 years and retired in 1986. She also worked for the Northside Deli in Troy for over five years.
In keeping Wilma's wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements are being handled by Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua.
