COVINGTON — Isabelle "Izzy" (Coate) (Woods) Huston, 89, of Covington, died Friday, July 11, 2014, at the Covington Care Center. She was born Nov. 4, 1924, in Pleasant Hill to the late Frank and Mae Elizabeth (Clement) Coate; a graduate of Newton High School, Pleasant Hill, Class of 1942; a member of Covington Church of the Brethren; worked at Sellman Furniture for many years; enjoyed spending time with her many girlfriends at Tuesday Lunch and Card Club; loved her lab dogs, and cat, Molly.

Preceded in death by her parents; first husband and father of her children, Samuel L. Woods in 1963; second husband, Albert "June" Huston in 1998; brother, William (Pat) Coate; and two sisters, Ethyldyne (Harold) Iddings and Doretha (Jack) Manning.

Isabelle is survived by her children, Carol Pleiman of Tipp City, Vicki (Tony) Hand of Covington and Sam Woods of Covington; six grandchildren, Chris Pleiman of Covington, Jenny (Phil) Black of Indiana, Andy (Brenda) Kenworthy of Troy, Lisa (L.G.) Henry of Oakwood, Eric Hand of West Chester, and Matt (Dee) Hand of Hilliard; 15 great-grandchildren, Shelbie Pleiman, Noah Black, Jessica and Jacob Kenworthy, Sam and Jack Henry, Cooper, Emma, Nora and Will Hand, Alex, Nathan and Luke Hand, Joe Grigsby, and Jami (Chris) Brown; two great-great-grandchldren, Drew and Evelyn Brown; brother, Everett (Jan) Coate of Covington; sister, Judy (Tony) Brinkman of Florida; and many relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 21, at 10:30 a.m. at the Covington Church of the Brethren, 101 N. Wall St., Covington, with Pastor Michael Yingst officiating. Interment Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday 2-5 p.m. at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington and again Monday 9:30 until time of service at the church.
