PIQUA — Lisa A. (Jessup) Bostic, passed away at 8:44 a.m. Thursday July 31, 2014, at the age of 46 at her parents' home following a four-year battle with ovarian cancer. She was born Jan. 3, 1968 in Piqua to Thomas E. and Cheryl (Linn) Jessup Jr.; who survive in Piqua.

She loved her pets and will be missed by her dogs Bailey and Bristol and her cat Paczel. Her family was the most important part of her life and she will be missed by her uncles, Mike (Georgia) Jessup of Troy, Keith (Kathy) Jessup of Piqua, Joe (Cherish) Jessup of Walton, Ky.; aunts, Mary Ann (Craig) Stanton of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Carol (Tom) Thayer of Englewood, Kathy (Gerald) Flora of Covington, Janet Paul of West Bend, Wis.; and all of her cousins, Chris (Marilee) Jessup and family, Dawn and Deana Jessup, Keith Jessup Jr., Randy Jessup, Stacy Jessup Callahan, Julie (Jerry) Fickes and family, Jeff Thayer and family, Brad Flora and family; Jenny Flora and family; and special friend Steve Bostic.

Lisa was a 1986 graduate of Piqua High School where she was a member of the band drill team for four years. She was employed at Fifth Third Bank in Troy for nine years. She enjoyed very much and looked forward to her weekends at St. Mary's Lake Rustic Haven Resort with her many friends. She was an avid Cleveland Browns fan, Ohio State Buckeye football fan and was a fan of NASCAR's Jeff Gordon. She enjoyed going to the games in Cleveland for the Browns and Columbus for the Buckeyes and NASCAR races at Daytona. She enjoyed being with her friends at the Troy and Piqua American Legion Posts, Covington and Troy Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodges, and the Troy and Greenville Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Clubs.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at St. Boniface Catholic Church Concelebrated by the Rev. Father Thomas L. Bolte and the Rev. Father Angelo C. Caserta. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home where a prayer service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County Inc., P.
