TROY - June Eileen Cooper, 90, of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at Hearth and Home at Vandalia. She was born on June 25, 1924, in Piqua, to the late John Edward and Mary Aretta (Williams) Wilshire. Her husband of 56 years, Ned Cooper, preceded her in death in June, 2002.

June is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: June Aretta "Jackie" and Armand Tremblay of Tipp City; one son and daughter-in-law: Ned Arthur "Nic" and Jane Cooper of Ann Arbor, Mich., four grandchildren: Martha Tremblay Cohen (Jeff) and Matthew Tremblay (Rachelle) all of Columbus, Angela Cooper Mota (Robert) of Chicago, Il. and Sara Cooper Keast (Michael) of Allen Park, Mich.; five great grandchildren: Emily Tremblay, Madison Herald, Cooper Tremblay, Benjamin Keast, and Cecelia Keast. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister: Mary Martha (Wilshire) Jones.

June was a member of 1st Presbyterian Church in Troy. She was Voice Communications Supervisor at Hobart Manufacturing for 24 and a half years before retiring in 1985.

The family would like to thank everyone at Hearth & Home and Acclaim Hospice for the wonderful care given to June.

Services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 11, at the 1st Presbyterian Church, 20 S. Walnut Street, Troy, with the Rev. Dr. Richard Culp officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and immediately after at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baird Funeral Home in Troy. Private burial will be held at Miami Memorial Park in Covington at a later date.
