ST. PARIS - Alison N. (Bodey) Bumgardner, 47, of St. Paris, passed away, Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, due to an automobile accident.
She was born Oct. 29, 1965, the daughter of the late Alvin and Lynda (Tamplin) Bodey. Alison was a 1984 graduate of Graham High School. For the past 20 years, Alison has worked as a department manager with Walmart. She loved all animals, especially, horses, Disney World, playing games and Pink Floyd
She is survived by her children, whom she adored Caitlin L. Woodrum, Kiara D. Sanderson and Wyatt B Sanderson all of St. Paris; her brother, Alvin II "Chip" (Linda) Bodey of Urbana; her niece, Jenni Bodey of Urbana; special friends; her companion, Jacob Hochstetler of St. Paris; and the father of two children, Kevin E. Sanderson of Millerstown; as well as a host of friends and her Walmart 1239 family.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-8 p.m. Monday in the Vernon Funeral Home, 235 Miami St., Urbana.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Nancy Hardin officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, St. Paris.
