PIQUA - Walter E. Browning, 63, of Piqua, died at 4 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at the Covington Care Center.
He was born May 9, 1949 in Logan, W.Va. to the late Cecil and Rosie (Marcum) Browning. He married Cathy L. Tucker on March 27, 1971, in Phoneton; and she survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Patricia Jo Vance of Piqua; three granddaughters, Justine Ford, Morgan Ford and McKenzie Vance; a son-in-law, Timothy Ford of Piqua; two brothers, Virgel (Betty Jo) Browning of W.Va. and Raymond (Imogene) Browning of Troy; and three sisters, Maxine (Ermal) Marcum of Coal Grove, Barbara (Thomas) French of Florida and Carolyn Schilling of Troy.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer L. Ford, a son-in-law, Ricky Vance, a brother, Herman Browning, and a sister, Betty Thompson.
Mr. Browning was retired from Spinner Coating LLC Plant 1 of Troy. He will be greatly missed by his loving family who affectionately knew him as "Grandpa Daisy."
A private service to honor his life will be at Forest Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Acclaim Hospice.
