CASSTOWN - Margaret E. "Peg" Wilhelm, 82, of Casstown, died Saturday, May 4, 2013, at the Troy Care and Rehabilitation Center in Troy. She was born April 16, 1931, in Casstown, to the late Harry C. and Ellen J. (Jackson) LaTourrette. She married Herbert Oda Wilhelm.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years of marriage, Herbert; sons and daughters-in-law, Wade Harry and Diana Wilhelm of New Carlisle and Wayne Carl and Diana Wilhelm of Casstown; daughter, Lauraetta Jane Wilhelm of Casstown; three grandchildren, Steve and Christy Wilhelm, Michelle and Ian Robbins and Jamie Wilhelm; three great-grandchildren, Samuel and Matthew Wilhelm and Will Robbins; and sister, Eleanor Wilhelm of Bloomington, Ind.
She was a graduate of Lost Creek Schools. Peg was a member of the Casstown United Methodist Church and the Miami County Farm Bureau. She was a cook for the Miami East High School, retiring after 30-plus years of service.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy with the Rev. David Ramming officiating. Interment to follow in the Miami Memorial Park, Covington. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami Valley or Casstown United Methodist Church Music Fund.
