Clement (Bill) Ardourel

Clement A. (Bill) Ardourel of Boulder, CO passed away January 21, 2013. He was 90. Bill was born June 18, 1922 in Boulder, CO to Clement and Alma (Muscheites) Ardourel. After graduating from Boulder High School he served in the Army's 45th Infantry Division for 6 years during WWII receiving the Bronze Star, African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal and the American Theater Medal. Bill married Elaine Smith on January 31, 1948. They had two sons: Terry (Marcy) and Harold (Maggie) and one daughter Doreen. He worked as a service manager for Ardourel Motor Company and Allen Automotive retiring in 1982. Bill was hard working and loved to take his family camping, hunting arrowheads and enjoying the wilderness. He was a much-loved resident of Frasier Meadows Retirement Community for the past few years. He will be dearly missed by his family and the residents and staff of Frasier Meadows. He is survived by his children, 2 nieces and 3 nephews. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elaine, and 2 sisters. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 25, 10am at Crist Mortuary in Boulder followed by interment at Mountain View Cemetery.
