Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 20, 1955, Curtis Kyle Framel, 57, left his earthly body to be with his Maker July 12, 2013. Curtis is survived by his wife Gretchen Lenore Framel, daughter Julia Anne Framel, son Joshua Kyle Framel (Wendy Levesque Framel), father John Edward and stepmother Phyllis McCanna Framel, siblings; Cynthia Ann Trumble, John Brett Framel, Lisa Kay Williams and Steven Edward Framel. Curtis is preceded in death by his mother Vivian Jan Castling Framel. Curtis is also survived by his loving in-laws, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a grandbaby on the way. He was a devoted and encouraging father to Julia and Joshua. Curtis loved alternative energy and worked in this field for 30+ years and is followed in this passion by his son Josh. He enjoyed fishing, cross-country skiing, reading and helping out with church functions. A special thank you to Whispering Pines Church for their loving care and support. Memorial services for Curtis will be at the Whispering Pines Church in Coal Creek Canyon on July 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm.
