John Warner

John H. Warner, 90, of Boulder passed away May 3, 2013 in Louisville, Colorado. He was born October 9, 1922 in Boulder to John C. and Faye (Haworth) Warner.

John graduated from Boulder High School and served in the US Army during WW II. He married Doris Larson on June 16, 1945 in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

John was an auto mechanic, he worked for Russ Lyons Chevrolet and Russ Lyons Toyota of Boulder, he retired in 1987. He was a life member of the Boulder Elks Lodge and enjoyed fishing, pheasant hunting and playing shuffle board.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers James and Curtis "Bud" Warner, a sister Myrtle Tisone.

John is survived by his wife Doris of Boulder, a son Jack Warner and wife Linda of Arrowsic, Maine, two daughters Joyce Wetterberg and husband Richard of Steamboat Springs, CO, and Wendy Guyerson and husband Mike of Littleton, CO, six grandchildren Robert and Laura Warner, Victor Wetterberg, Danielle, Jacob, and Matthew Guyerson.

Graveside service will be 2 PM Tuesday May 7, 2013 at Mountain View Memorial Park of Boulder. Contributions can be made to Boulder Community Hospital Foundation and can be sent in care of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
