Mildred W. Corruccini passed away February 28, 2013 in Boulder, Colorado. She was 97 years old, living in the Carillon Residence with her husband, Joe Corruccini. She was born Mildred Belle Witham in Minot, ND on June 14, 1915 to Spencer and Mary Witham. She married Robert J. Corruccini on August 23, 1941 in Chicago IL and they had three children and four grandchildren. Mildred received her undergraduate degree from Minot State University, and a Master's degree from Oregon State University plus teaching certification from the University of Colorado. She taught in North Dakota and in Colorado. Survivors include her husband, Joe Corruccini, still residing at the Carillon Residence in Boulder; son Linton Reid Corruccini and his wife Carol, of Davis, CA; daughter Jo Ann Corruccini of Incline Village, NV; son Robert Spencer Corruccini and his wife Carol Morrow of Carbondale, IL; granddaughters Rebecca K. Corruccini, Anne M. Corruccini and Sarah R. Corruccini; grandson Joseph M. Corruccini, nieces Nancy (Mark) Gruber, Patty Delight (and husband Dan Helmerich), Jane (Tony) Yamada, and Ginger (Pete) Bebernes; their nieces' seven children, and numerous other relatives. She was a member of a Christian Science Monitor discussion group, and of the Boulder Garden Club. Mil was a terrific cook and a fan of Julia Child. She passed away peacefully and comfortably, surrounded by caregivers and family who loved her.
