Marilyn Boyne Obituary

Marilyn E. Boyne passed away at Boulder Community Health in Boulder, CO on December 25, 2015. She was born in Eaton Rapids, MI on February 8, 1930 to Rolland J. and Genevieve L. Topliff. Marilyn was raised on the family farm and graduated from Mason (MI) High School. She attended Western Michigan University for two years. She married John E. Boyne on November 6, 1948 and they soon took up residence in Howell, MI. Marilyn had two children - Joanne and James - before the family moved to Raleigh, NC in 1962. In 1966 the family moved again to Annapolis, MD where she worked as a teacher's aide for many years. In 1982 Marilyn and John moved to Worthington, OH and then to New Albany, OH in 2005. Their final move was to Louisville, CO in 2008 to be closer to family. Marilyn was a devoted wife, mom, grandma and great-grandma. We will always remember her as a determined and outspoken woman who cared deeply for her family. She is survived by her husband John Boyne of Louisville, CO; daughter Joanne (Dan) Ford of Randallstown, MD; son James (Debbie) Boyne of Boulder, CO; brother Roger Topliff of Boulder, CO; grandchildren Jennifer (Chuck) Castles of Denver, CO and Melissa (David) Hiserote of Pflugerville, TX; and great-grandchildren Madelyn and Susannah Castles and Tyler and Ella Hiserote. The family would like to thank the staff at Boulder Community Health in Boulder, CO for their compassionate care of Grandma during her last days and hours.
