Lawrence "Ricky" Rickman, 84, of Louisville, died August 9, 2012 at his home. A Gathering will be held from 1:00 p.m., until 5:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Ricky's Life at 2:00 p.m., Mon., August 20th, The Community Park, Roosevelt & Lois Ave., Louisville, CO. Military Honors provided by the United States Army. Casual Dress and please bring a chair and a dish to share. No adult beverages allowed. Ricky was born Feb. 17, 1928 in Betsy Layne, KY to Charles B. and Dora (Abrams) Rickman. He married Margie Mae Thompson in 1953 in Westminster. Ricky served in the United States Army during WWII. He was a former Louisville Coal Miner and retired in 1989 as the Louisville Street Superintendent having lived in Louisville since the age of 9. Survivors: Wife, Margie Rickman, Louisville, CO; Sons, Larry (Sally) Rickman, Louisville, CO, Lonnie Rickman, Louisville, CO and Ronald Rickman, Louisville, CO; Daughters, Rhonda Rickman, Louisville, CO and Debbie (Sean) Rickman-Pratt, Dacono, CO; Brother, Duke (Sandy) Rickman, Lafayette, CO; 7 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
